- Applications for the winter semester are to be submitted between 1 May and 1 June . · Applications for the summer semester are to be submitted between 1 November and 1 December of the preceding year.

- You are eligible to apply for the MSc Economics programme if: you hold a Bachelor’s degree in economics with an overall average grade of 2.5 or better (German grading scale, this corresponds to a U.S. GPA of at least B-/C+) and your Bachelor's study programme fulfils the following criteria: Basics: you took courses in microeconomics and macroeconomics totalling at least 20 credit points (ECTS). Advanced knowledge: on top of that, you took courses in the field of economics totalling at least another 20 credit points (ECTS). Methods: you took courses in maths, statistics and econometrics totalling at least 15 credit points (ECTS). and you can provide documentation of English proficiency (details below). If you hold a Bachelor’s degree in a field adjacent to economics or if you do not meet the 2.5 average grade criterion, there are additional eligibility criteria.
