Application Procedure (Two Steps) Complete the pre-check via the official Pre-Check Service Portal: https://precheck.go-study-europe.de . After successfully passing the pre-check, you will receive further instructions along with a link to the online application portal. Pre-Check Information: To ensure you meet the admission requirements, we strongly recommend that all applicants (EU, non-EU, and German) complete the pre-check before submitting their application. The Pre-Check Portal opens in September or February, and evaluations begin in November and April. Please note that the pre-check results will only be available from mid-November or mid-April, depending on when the pre-check has been submitted. - Academic admission requirements include the completion of a “Diplom” or Bachelor's course of study of Medical Informatics, Computer Science (with healthcare minor), Information Technology (with healthcare minor), Medical Engineering (with a focus on software) or equivalent at a university of applied sciences ("Fachhochschule") or a university, or the completion of a corresponding accredited Bachelor's qualification programme at a university of cooperative education ("Berufsakademie") with an overall grade of at least “good” (2.5). In addition, a sufficient level of competence in Software Development and Engineering as well as basics of Medicine or Healthcare Information Systems needs to be demonstrated.
